I wrote this piece in a tranquil April afternoon, when the weather was cloudy and humid — not a suitable day for outdoor ventures. The calligraphy is adapted from 朱熹’s work 勸學詩 偶成 , an encouraging poem that advises people to cherish youth and emphasizes the importance of disciplined learning.
